On March 18, 2019 forty-five
minutes before her 63rd birthday, Stephanie
Louise Bolner Tupper of Mystic, Connecticut
passed away from a year-long fight with cancer.
She was in the care of Westerly Hospital in
Westerly, Rhode Island.
Stephanie was born in Franklin, Louisiana on
March 19, 1956 to Richard J Bolner and Phyllis
Albares Bolner. She has one brother, Rick Bolner
of Austin, Texas and her sister, Mary Frances
Bolner Valach. Stephanie grew up in Metairie,
Louisiana and attended Chapelle High School.
Steph married Clint Tupper on January 3, 1987,
in Picayune, Mississippi. She lived most of her
life in Connecticut. She has worked for Electric
Boat in Groton, Connecticut for the past seven
years. Steph was a devoted Christian and found
serenity in the word of God.
She is survived by her ex-husband and great
friend Clint Tupper and her daughter, Cadi
Tupper, as well as grandson, Aiden Tupper of
Mystic, Connecticut. She is preceded in death by
her sisters, Mary Frances Bolner Valach and her
infant sister who died at birth in 1968, as well
as her parents, Richard and Phyllis Bolner.
Her family will greet relatives and friends on
Saturday, March 23, from 12Noon to 2:00pm at the
Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A
funeral home service will immediately follow at
2:00pm. Stephanie’s ashes will be interned in
Lakelawn Cemetery in New Orleans in the upcoming
months.
