Spring Bayou runs west of Bodoc. It is a wild area. The Spring Bayou Road connects Highways 361 and 1180.
These egrets have apparently established a rookery in the bayou and surrounding swamp.
They took flight as I approached. I plan to return soon and be more discreet.
