Feeling Alone With The Uniqueness of the Creator

I am in tune with the radio station in Puerto Rico,
Waiting for a signal from the far beyond.

I wait, but I know in my heart, that nothing will come of it,
That tonight and tomorrow night I will be left with the challenge of waitiing,
And that all nights will be much like this one,
An act of faith--
Except that each sky and its stars, with their wondrous light, will be unique.

It is this uniqueness of each sky and each star that gives me strength.
It is a uniqueness cousined with the uniqueness of each flake of snow and
Each grain of sand, and each flower,
And each unique beat of my precious heart--
That gives me the courage to go on.

I take refuge in this vision
Of a constantly unique universe,
And in a constantly unique Creator who exceeds all.
