Various Tendrils
In deepest Avoyelles parish, Louisiana, where blacktop road meets gravel road, and where, if risked, gravel road would meet dirt road, Lurks a history of disposal of clinical remains, deposits of Alexandria's and Opelousas' dregs, and where, various tendrils, once redemptive morning breaks upon the humid and mild bucolic scene, begin to trace their fine day's path. I know a road, known to few, called Baron's Lane.
