Catholic Perspectives on Immigration

We will examine the issue of immigration in the United States from a Catholic perspective.  Close attention will be paid to the facts relating to the issue and to the various pronouncements by Catholic bishops and other church spokespersons.  We will also examine recent proposals to deal with the issue of undocumented/illegal immigrants including criminalization, "guest workers," truly closed borders, etc. The seminar will meet from 9 to 11 a.m. on September 11, 18, 25 and October 2, 9, and 16 (all Mondays) in the library of the St. Aloysius Parish administration building   Adults of all faiths are welcome.
