Tuesday Evening Seminar
Catholic Perspectives on End of Life Issues - The seminar will consist of three two-hour sessions on consecutive Tuesday evenings. The topic of the sessions will be end of life issues, including moral issues posed by the use of (or refusal to use) extraordinary means to prolong life. Resources will be relevant public documents, contemporary and historical church documents and materials, pronouncements of the U.S. Conference of Bishops, and papal statements. Seminar leaders will be retired professors Jim Bolner, Sr., and Greg Hussey. Dates: October 11, 18, and 25 (all Tuesdays). All sessions will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the St. Aloysius Convent.
