Prayer for Faith
January 19, 2004


O great and holy God,
You who have made us and made the majestic heavens,
Made the flower, the fish, and the earth--
Hear our prayer.

We thank you for all your many rich gifts,
We seek to glorify you by our search for wisdom and understanding, but
Most importantly of all--

We ask that you fill us with the gift of faith,
That we may believe those truths which we cannot fathom,
That we may hold firmly those great principles taught by Jesus,
That we may this day deepen and broaden our faith, and
That you may breathe upon us your Holy Inspiration.
