Prayer for World Peace   O holy and all powerful Creator, Giver of all good gifts, We give you praise and glory As we gather to explore and seek to understand Your coming into our world.    We thank you for wondrous talents Of mind and spirit, and For the special inner hunger for you Which drives us and fills our days.    We ask today in a special way for peace in your world. May hearts— Our hearts and those of your children Who are caught in history-rooted cycles and patterns of violence-- Be turned toward you.  And as we and they turn our hearts and faces toward those Of our sisters and brothers aligned against us May we see in the other’s face Your image and likeness, and May our—and their--conduct be guided by your love.      --Jim Bolner, Sr. January, 2007
