Prayer for Enlightenment

O holy God,
You have made the universe and given us the great gift of life,
You have filled us with a great hunger for understanding.
We thank you for these gifts of life and hunger.
We give you glory,
And we pray for an increase in our ability to give you glory.
We ask that you give us the enlightenment of your Spirit,
So that we may, in a small way, satisfy the hunger with which we are blessed.
