Richard Rohr

In the morning I often read the blog of Richard Rohr,

A Franciscan priest who has seized the day and

The hour and the moment, and

Wishes to tell how he does it—

How he effaces his false ego so as to promote his true ego,

How he wishes for the silence which will permit his true ego

To fall into a kind of rosy abyss

Where dwell prophets and sages, and

Like-minded mystics

Who have grown so close to themselves

That they have encountered the Creator.
