March Moon

The moon this March evening

Rose full and bright.

Silver medal in dark sky.

It called, I responded.

    Setting up the telescope
    I began the work:   

Approximating my camera

To the gift in the eyepiece.

I captured 68 images of the silver disc, and

Spreading them upon my computer screen

Traveled again and again

The seas, bays, plains of the moon.
