Taking the Measurement of Space

Ponder this:

Our time is measured—

Moments, seconds, minutes, hours, days, and

So on until we reach the realm of the astronomer.

Our space is measured—

Inches, feet, yards, miles, and

So on until we reach the realm of the astronomer.

The astronomer,

True to the astronomer’s name

Rules a realm of space and time merged, and

Reckoning in parsecs and light years

Valiantly tries to help us understand.
