News Out of the Fog

"In Cleveland three women were kidnapped by three brothers, and

Kept as captives for ten years. 

Also found in the house was a young girl,

Presumed to be the daughter of one of the women.

The women had been the subject of an intensive search."

The thick fog settles in:

How could this be? 

How could the three women not put out a sign:

A flag in a window, a cry in the night, a phone call?

Ten years is a long time.
