Carpe Diem

Seize the day, seize the moment, seize the nanosecond.

Do all in your power to rent the veil of appearance.

Push yourself to the brink of seeing through it all.

Yesterday and last week, and last month, and last year

Have ceased to be.

They are mere flickers made by dying neurons

In your aging brain.

Tomorrow and the day after and the month and year following

Are yet to be.

They may, if truth be known, never come to be.

The time is now.

Carpe diem!
