If we look closely--really closely--at things,
Whether it be our hand or our foot or our heart,
Or a blue-lined cup, or a flower, or a star--
We will see that it has an inner beauty unique
To itself, and

If we continue to look closely--really closely--at things,
We will see that there is a bond that is and grows
Between the hand, or cup, or star, and
Our own inner self.

If we are patient,
We will--over time--come to grasp
As only the mind can grasp
This truth: we are one with the things
Which we see.
