The Buddha:
Walking, Teaching
Seeking,
striving to understand himself and his world
The Buddha
walked across much of India,
Teaching what?
That life was
filled with change, beauty, and death, and
Peace and
understanding was costly.
Costly in
proportion to our appreciation and love
Poppy fields of
Provence, or streets of Aix, or
The feel of the
sun-warmed wood of the porch of the old house.
Buddha
economics:
We see pain and
poverty and death, and
We try to
understand.
We do understand
somewhat, but
At the cost of
forsaking our richest memories.
